We’ve partnered with GreenWay Containers so you can now get these formats through a local NZ stockist, without the freight and hassle.

GreenWay Containers is a family‑run US business that makes plastic‑free, compostable paperboard packaging for indie beauty, wellness and specialty food brands. Their focus is simple, practical formats that actually work in real formulations:

  • Lip balm tubes (twist and push‑up)

  • Deodorant / solid balm tubes

  • Paper jars for balms, scrubs and dry goods

  • Powder and spice shaker tubes

All made from high‑quality cardboard paper with food‑grade or cosmetic‑grade components, designed for dry or oil‑based products rather than water‑based formulas.

What is the GreenWay range?

At Woodhill Distribution, we already help NZ brands ship more sustainably with Flexi‑Hex honeycomb sleeves and shippers. The next question we kept hearing was:

“What about the packaging my customer keeps – can that be plastic‑free too?”

The GreenWay range is our answer for:

  • Natural deodorant and lip balm brands wanting fully cardboard sticks

  • Beauty and wellness brands needing eco jars for balms, scrubs and solid products

Why we’re bringing it to NZ

We’re starting with a tightly curated set of best‑selling formats from GreenWay:

  • Lip balm tubes – 0.15 oz
    Twist and push‑up styles, in kraft, white and black, for balms, tints and solid perfume.

  • Deodorant / solid balm tubes – 1.25 & 2 oz
    “Travel/trial” and full‑size push‑up paper tubes for solid deodorants, body balms and lotion bars.

  • Paper jars – 2 & 5 oz
    Lightweight kraft and coated white jars for balms, scrubs, powder masks and dry blends.

  • Powder / spice shaker tubes – 2 oz
    Paper shaker with sifter insert for spices, powders and bath salts – a standout option for specialty food and wellness brands.

As we learn what works best for NZ brands, we’ll refine sizes and colours and may expand the range.

How pricing works

We import in bulk and hold stock in Auckland so you can order realistic quantities instead of entire pallets from overseas.

  • Pricing is based on true landed cost plus a fair margin – similar to how we price Flexi‑Hex.

  • Different formats are priced according to size and complexity, but all are designed so you can cut plastic without destroying your margins on finished products.

  • We’ll share a simple price list once we know which formats and volumes you’re considering.
